Medical Grade Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a skin resurfacing treatment that uses a solution to exfoliate the outer layers of skin, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion underneath. They help improve the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, uneven skin tone, and sun damage. By stimulating collagen production and promoting cell turnover, chemical peels can give your skin a fresh, rejuvenated look.

Vi Peel Precision plus

The Vi Peel was originally developed to treat the founder’s teenage daughter’s severe acne. Today, it’s a widely-used treatment for both adults and teens, effective for both men and women. The Vi Peel works to reduce skin imperfections and enhance your skin’s glow by promoting healthy cell renewal, which smooths rough texture and repairs years of damage. It’s also safe for nearly all skin types, including darker tones.

Cosmelan® Peel

The Cosmelan Peel is an advanced depigmentation treatment designed to target and reduce dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and melasma. It works by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for dark spots, resulting in a more even and radiant skin tone. The Cosmelan Peel is effective on all skin types and can dramatically improve stubborn pigmentation issues that other treatments may not address. This peel not only brightens your complexion but also helps to smooth the skin’s texture, giving you a clearer and more youthful appearance.

Treatment Process:

  1. Initial Consultation: We’ll assess your skin condition and determine if you’re a candidate.
  2. In-Clinic Application (Phase 1): The peel is applied and left on the skin for a specified amount of time (typically 8–12 hours), depending on your skin type and condition.
  3. At-Home Care (Phase 2): After the initial peel, you’ll be given a home-care regimen, which includes applying Cosmelan 2 cream and using specific skincare products to support the skin’s recovery and enhance results.

Downtime and Recovery Time:

  • Immediate Post-Peel: The first few days after the peel (3-7 days), you will experience redness, peeling, and skin sensitivity similar to a sunburn.
  • First 7-10 Days: The most intense peeling and flaking occurs within this period. You may need to avoid social activities or events during this time.
  • After 2 Weeks: Your skin will start to heal, and results will begin to show. Redness may persist, but the peeling will subside. You will need to follow strict sun protection and use the prescribed aftercare products.
  • Full Recovery: By the 4th week, the skin is typically fully healed, but full results can be seen at around 6-8 weeks.

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

Typically, one session is enough to see significant improvement, but in cases of severe hyperpigmentation or melasma, additional treatments might be recommended. Maintenance treatments may be advised to sustain the results, depending on skin type and the extent of pigmentation.

Aftercare:

  • Sun Protection: This is crucial post-treatment. Direct sun exposure should be avoided, and a high-SPF sunscreen must be applied daily.
  • Moisturization: Keeping the skin well-hydrated is important, as the peel can make the skin dry and sensitive.
  • Avoid Harsh Products: Post-peel, you should avoid using retinoids, exfoliating acids, and any products that may irritate the skin for several weeks.

Results:

  • You may start to see improvements in skin clarity within 2-4 weeks.
  • Full results are generally visible within 6-8 weeks with a significant reduction in pigmentation, but some maintenance might be needed for long-term results.
